When New York State deregulated the natural gas industry to encourage competition in the marketplace, homeowners were given the ability to choose their Energy Supplier. When you choose JJT Energy as your Energy Supplier, as opposed to a local utility like ConEd or National Grid, you WILL pay less for the natural gas you use in your home.
The NYS Public Service Commission (PSC) guarantees that customers of Energy Suppliers receive the same consumer rights that utility customers receive. The PSC further assists switching to an ESCO by offering immediate Tax Savings and waiving other charges on the homeowner's energy bill.
